User Agreement

You must be at least 18 and have legal capacity to enter binding agreements. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Rentra provides a peer-to-peer rental platform. We do not own, control, or guarantee listings, nor act as a rental agent, broker, or insurer. All transactions are solely between users.

• You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of any listings, messages, or content you submit.
• Only post items you have the right to rent; information must be truthful and not misleading.
• Illegal, stolen, hazardous, or prohibited items may not be listed.

Users browse listings and communicate directly to arrange rentals. Rentra does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or suitability of any listing.

Rentra may charge service or processing fees, disclosed at the time of use. Payments are processed via secure third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). Rentra does not store payment details.

• Peer-to-peer rentals involve inherent risks.
• Rentra is not liable for damage, theft, injury, or loss arising from any transaction.
• Rentra does not verify users, inspect items, or guarantee authenticity, safety, or legality.

Disputes must first be addressed directly between users. Rentra may, at its sole discretion, assist or intervene but is not obligated to do so.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these terms
• Post prohibited content
• Engage in fraud or abuse
• Compromise safety or user experience

Such action may occur without prior notice or liability.

• Rentra is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages.
• Rentra disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Rentra harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the platform
• Your breach of this Agreement
• Your interactions or transactions with other users

By submitting content (listings, images, messages), you grant Rentra a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content to operate and promote the platform.

Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Rentra, you consent to the data practices described there.

Platform IP (excluding user content) remains the property of Rentra. You may not copy, distribute, or modify platform assets without written permission.

We may update this Agreement at any time. Significant changes will be communicated. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Victoria’s courts.
